Who's worth referring

Anyone with a genuine reason to be in Australia and a real intention to get there properly. Often that's a nurse, a doctor, an engineer, a teacher, a social worker or someone in IT - but those are examples, not a list. If you're not sure whether their situation is something we handle, refer them anyway and let us work it out.

One honest note before you do. Not everyone is a good candidate, and we'd rather say that plainly than have you raise someone's hopes on our behalf.

Migrating to Australia is something a person funds themselves. There are real costs along the way - assessments, testing, health examinations, police checks, and government charges for every person in the application - and our professional fees sit on top of those. It's an investment, and it's worth every cent to the people who make it, but it does have to be affordable for them.

What we can't do is find someone a sponsor or cover the cost of getting them here. If that's what they're hoping for, we won't be able to help, and we'd be doing you no favours by pretending otherwise.

So the people worth referring tick three things
  • doneThere's a genuine basis for them to come. Their skills, their family, their circumstances - something real to work with.
  • doneThey can afford to fund it. Both the costs required to pay the authorities and for proper legal representation.
  • doneThey want a great law firm to do it properly, and you know enough about how we work to be confident we'd do right by them.
  • The last one matters the most. A referral from someone who's actually seen how we work is worth more to us than ten names from a list.

How it works

How it works

1. Tell us who you're referring. Fill in the short form below. It takes a minute.

2. Point them to us. Share your own experience and send them to solvi.com.au. That's all you need to do - you don't have to explain the process or the costs, and we'd honestly rather you didn't. Every case is different and we don't want you guessing on our behalf.

3. Get paid. If they become a paying client within 30 days of your referral, we'll be in touch to arrange your reward.

What you'll earn

Up to $500 per person. The amount depends on what they engage us for.

Paid in two parts - the first when they pay their deposit, the second on their final payment.

Refer as many people as you like.

How you'll be paid

When your reward becomes payable, we'll confirm the best way to get it to you:

Bank transfer · A retail gift card, such as an Amazon gift card · A donation to charity · Credit against your own fees, if you're a current SOLVi client

Who can refer
Anyone over the age of 18. You don't need to be a SOLVi client. If you've spoken to us, been assessed by us, or simply know what we do - you can refer.
One thing we should be upfront about

When someone becomes our client, everything about their matter is confidential and protected by legal professional privilege. That protection is theirs, not yours.

So we won't be able to discuss their situation, our advice, their fees or how things are going - even if they've told you themselves. The only thing we'll tell you is when a reward becomes payable.

We'd extend you exactly the same protection.
